Dub’s Playlist This Week- Kenny Chesney
What will be on Dub’s playlist this week? We’re going back to the 90s with some early, and I mean early, Kenny Chesney. Of course we’ve covered it before, I’m a huge 90s country fan. Its what I grew up on. I can still remember riding around in my mom’s car on the way to karate class listening to Kicks99 and hearing all of those classic 90s songs.
I’ve been a Kenny Chesney fan for a long time, and while I love his current stuff, old school Kenny will always be my favorite. Kenny had some bangers in the 90s! I think a lot of people forget just how many hits Kenny had in the 90s. His first “Greatest Hits” album was full of all of that stuff from the 90s, and it was awesome.
Actually I was just listening to Kenny’s first “Greatest Hits” album in the truck the other day. Thats what sparked me to choose this song for this week. Its from 1994 and you can tell by listening to it how young Kenny was. Honestly if you didn’t know this was Kenny Chesney, you would probably never guess it was Kenny.
His voice and style has definitely changed, but for a couple minutes lets go back and remember young Kenny.
