Augusta GreenJackets Game – Cody Threw Out The First Pitch
Last night, I got to do something I have never done before. I got to throw out the first pitch at the Augusta GreenJackets game! If I’m honest, I was really nervous about it. I am not a super athletic person — I was a dancer, remember? But, I was relieved when I realized there were 4 people total to throw out the first pitch. And I didn’t have to go first!
I was actually the third to throw out the first pitch. Which was both good and bad. It was good not to be the first… but once the first two people threw the ball and did well, the pressure was on. I will admit, it is definitely a lot farther of a throw than it looks from the stands. Once I stepped up there, my only focus was on getting the ball to the catcher. And… I was successful!

The GreenJackets were playing the Charleston RiverDogs last night. Unfortunately, the Jackets lost in a really close game. The final score was 6-5.
