Georgia Hotel Is One Of The Most Exciting New Spot Of 2024
It’s certainly challenging for a hotel to differentiate itself these days, aside from having great rates. However, Condé Nast Traveler recently found some of the most unique new hotels opening in 2024, and a Georgia establishment made the list. In fact, Hotel Bardo in Savannah is the first place you will see featured here.
It was explained that the building dates back to 1888. “Over the years, it’s lived several lives, most recently as the Mansion on Forsyth Park before changing hands earlier this year,” Condé Nast Traveler says. Now, one of the most anticipated new hotels in Georgia is preparing to open in February amidst much excitement.
New Year = New Beginnings
The start of each year always creates the opportunity and feeling of starting over again or creating something brand new. It could be a better version of yourself or launching that business you have been planning diligently for year.
“Everyone loves a new beginning—and that’s the theme we’re seeing with this season’s splashiest hotel openings,” Condé Nast Traveler said.
Hotel Bardo, describes itself as a place that is familiar yet a new experience at the same time. “Bardo guest rooms and suites convey a sense of luxury, one that’s less about the quantity of things, and more about the quality of a feeling,” the hotel states.
Hotel Bardo Savannah is located at 700 Drayton Street. There are two restaurants on the property. One of them, named Saint Bibiana, will even offer cooking classes. Furthermore, there will be a members only club as well. There is an application process to explore being a member, but once you are in, you will be treated to valet parking, priority dining reservations, and a private member’s lounge.
All guests at Hotel Bardo will have great amenities available during their stay. An outdoor pool, bar, tennis courts, and pickleball. Right now, rooms in late February are starting at under $400 per night.
Georgia Destination Named A Best Tiny House Hotel
A recent report by Shermans Travel detailed the 10 best Tiny House hotels in America, and a Georgia destination made the list. “Tiny homes are one of the hottest residential design trends right now,” they explain.
In addition, Realtor.com published a story last year that gave readers a glimpse of what exactly is going on with the Tiny House trend in America. But what is a Tiny House? Typically, they are 100 to 400 square feet. Many of them (though not a requirement) are situated in quieter areas. It is very common to find tiny home communities tucked within nature, in a peaceful and serene setting.
Other common attributes include creative ways to establish storage space and loft beds. They are often energy-efficient simply due to the smaller footprint requiring less utility power.
“If you’re considering the tiny-home lifestyle, take it for a test drive before you hire a builder and go all-in,” Realtor explained. That is another reason why having such Tiny House hotel options is helpful. It gives those who are interested a chance to try it out.
Live A Little Chatt – Rising Fawn, Georgia
Located just 30 miles outside Chattanooga, Live A Little Chatt has three Tiny Houses on the property to stay at. “It’s evident that each was built with love and intention,” Shermans Travel explains. The Old Blue Chair house accommodates up to five guests, while the Shangri-Little and Wandering Gypsy can sleep three people.
Visitors to Rising Fawn Georgia are in close proximity to Cloudland Canyon State Park. That’s where you will find hiking trails and two waterfalls. However, there is also nothing wrong with staying on the hotel grounds to embrace the simple environment around you to unwind fully.
Each of the three options at this Georgia destination that was named in the list of best Tiny House hotels is uniquely different from each other. “We strive to give you the place to find your bliss and live deliberately.” Live A Little Chatt says.
