Georgia Area Has One Of The Best Halloween Parades In The U.S.
The fall season is certainly one of the most festive times of the year. Now, in the coming weeks, children (and adults) will be dressing up in their best costumes. To recognize this fun, USA Today‘s 10Best published a report of the best Halloween parades across the county and a Georgia area made the list.
“Some of the biggest Halloween parades across the country attract locals and visitors alike to see spooky magic happen or simply march along in the fun,” 10Best explains.
What constitutes a great Halloween parade? Of course, it must be filled with kids. Sure, parents enjoy dressing up, but most Halloween parades are about the excitement of youth. There’s not a kid on earth who does not love getting compliments on how great their costume is. Furthermore, try to pay attention to how you deliver the question, “What are you supposed to be?”
Though Halloween parades all have their standard components, there are also variations that make each one unique to their city or community. Some bring in the most decorative jugglers, or haunted costumes for guests to marvel (or scream) at. Others allow the kids to be the main attraction, walking down the street. Regardless, it goes without saying there must be an abundance of candy.
In Georgia, one of the best Halloween parades in the area is coming up this weekend.
Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and Parade – Atlanta
On October 21 and 22, this two-day “spooktacular” takes place. The Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and Parade has a 3D haunted house, live music, and of course, a thrilling parade. According to their official website, this is the biggest Halloween celebration in the southeast.
Specifically for the kids, there is a monster sticker hunt on Saturday. Then, the parade is at 2 pm on Sunday. “Expect a lot of creativity everywhere,” 10Best states. This includes ghost tours and “boo-ze” crawls for the adults.

Georgia Destination Named A Best Tiny House Hotel
A recent report by Shermans Travel detailed the 10 best Tiny House hotels in America, and a Georgia destination made the list. “Tiny homes are one of the hottest residential design trends right now,” they explain.
In addition, Realtor.com published a story last year that gave readers a glimpse of what exactly is going on with the Tiny House trend in America. But what is a Tiny House? Typically, they are 100 to 400 square feet. Many of them (though not a requirement) are situated in quieter areas. It is very common to find tiny home communities tucked within nature, in a peaceful and serene setting.
Other common attributes include creative ways to establish storage space and loft beds. They are often energy-efficient simply due to the smaller footprint requiring less utility power.
“If you’re considering the tiny-home lifestyle, take it for a test drive before you hire a builder and go all-in,” Realtor explained. That is another reason why having such Tiny House hotel options is helpful. It gives those who are interested a chance to try it out.
Live A Little Chatt – Rising Fawn, Georgia
Located just 30 miles outside Chattanooga, Live A Little Chatt has three Tiny Houses on the property to stay at. “It’s evident that each was built with love and intention,” Shermans Travel explains. The Old Blue Chair house accommodates up to five guests, while the Shangri-Little and Wandering Gypsy can sleep three people.
Visitors to Rising Fawn Georgia are in close proximity to Cloudland Canyon State Park. That’s where you will find hiking trails and two waterfalls. However, there is also nothing wrong with staying on the hotel grounds to embrace the simple environment around you to unwind fully.
Each of the three options at this Georgia destination that was named in the list of best Tiny House hotels is uniquely different from each other. “We strive to give you the place to find your bliss and live deliberately.” Live A Little Chatt says.
