CSRA News: Bond Hearing For Richmond County Man
A bond hearing is scheduled for a Richmond County man who allegedly held his estranged wife at gunpoint while threatening to set her on fire.
Deputies were sent to the 2400 block of Lisbon Road February 12. Authorities say 61 year old Frank Ward allegedly struck his wife in the face then spread a gasoline-soaked towel over her body, threatening to burn her. Authorities found evidence that included blood, shell casings and two bullet holes.
Ward was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and burglary.
