Hardy and Caleigh Were Married Saturday In Nashville

Hardy and Caleigh Ryan got married on Saturday (10/29) in front of 350 guests at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville. Caleigh spoke to People before the wedding, saying of the venue, "It's like huge, green pastures. It's a beautiful stone venue. It has an outside ceremony space that looks out to all the trees and Tennessee landscape."

For the big day, the bride wore a dress that she custom-designed by Naama & Anat after failing to fall in love with any of the dresses she tried on at a bridal shop. She said, "We go to a lot of awards shows where you get to wear beautiful dresses, so it really was about finding my wedding dress versus just another beautiful dress. That was my biggest obstacle. So I ended up creating a dress from scratch."

As for the groom, he wore a suit by Stitched in Las Vegas, a bow tie, and custom gold cuff links that belonged to his late great-uncle.

Hardy told People of his wedding vows, "We're going to write our own vows and do them privately. We want the ceremony to be like 30 seconds long. We just want to have a big party for everybody. I'm trying to avoid having a complete meltdown in front of everyone, and I don't think I could get through vows at the altar, and she's the same. The vows will be for us. It doesn't have to be for everybody else."

Among their guests were country music friends Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Lauren Alaina, Devin Dawson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Lindsay Ell, Travis Denning, RaeLynn, ERNEST, Renee Blair, Jameson Rodgers, and Morgan Wallen.

He said of the guest lost, "I could have invited a lot more people, but we wanted people there that know us and love us."

Though pal Thomas Rhett wasn't able to attend the wedding due to a scheduling conflict (he and wife Lauren Akins were just returning from Italy after celebrating their own 10-year wedding anniversary), the couple said he's already given them some "heartfelt golden nuggets of advice for life and kids."

The couple said that the entire day was a dream come true. They first started dating on April 19, 2018. After Ryan, a San Diego native popped up on his "For You" page on Instagram. They began to DM each other, and one thing led to another.

Hardy said they both want "like four kids" to fill their new Nashville home, but first comes the honeymoon. After his upcoming performance at the CMA Awards on November 9, the couple will jet off to Thailand and Vietnam.

Following their honeymoon and the holidays, hardy will drop his sophomore album, the mockingbird & THE CROW, on January 20, 2023.

Country music star Hardy has been making strides in his career in 2022 as he and Lainey Wilson released a haunting murder ballad called "Wait In The Truck," and country radio has been embracing it.

Hardy is also set to tour with his friend Morgan Wallen this fall after he had to cancel a few of his shows after a bad bus crash near Nashville on October 2 sent him and some of his crew to the hospital, where his bus driver Ricky remains in serious condition.

Hardy also won his second "Songwriter of the Year" award from the ACM in the spring. Hardy is a co-writer of Blake Shelton's powerful "God's Country."
