Masters Bucket List Dream Comes True For 9 Year Old Girl
A Masters Bucket List Dream is coming true for a 9 year old girl named Madelyn Quinn. Madelyn is a heart transplant recipient and was at the Genesis Invitational PGA Tour event a couple of weeks ago. Madelyn made a sign that was a check list of three things on her bucket list. The sign had these three things on it.
- Get Heart Transplant
- Meet Tiger Woods
- Play Augusta
Thankfully she was able to check the first thing off the list. During the third round of the Genesis Invitational, Tiger Woods saw Madelyn’s sign. He went over and said hello to her, he took a sharpie and signed a golf glove for her and checked off the “Meet Tiger Woods” box himself. Now Madelyn is going to check off the final box on her bucket list, well kind of.
Once this story broke, a member of Augusta National Golf Club got in touch with Madelyn and her father Greg and invited them to The Masters this year. What a year its been for Madelyn! I love stories like this. I love it when people get to experience The Masters for the first time, and this is going to be such a special experience for Madelyn and her dad.
Here is a clip of Tiger high-fiving Madelyn as he walked off the green.
