Georgia Ranked As One Of The Best States To Work From Home
Georgia has ranked as one of the best states to work from home. If you’re looking for a flexible position, you’re definitely in luck. According to a new study from Wallet Hub, Georgia comes in at number seven on the list. According to the study, following the COVID pandemic, 12.7 % of the work force now works completely from home.
The study also found that 28.2 % have a hybrid schedule where they work half in the office and half at home. Thankfully life is pretty much back to normal now, but a lot of companies found the hybrid model or the totally at home model works for them. On the other hand, however, there are still a lot of companies who want employees in the office.
I suppose it really all depends on how productive you can be in each environment. There are some people who can get just as much, if not more done at home. Some of you just across the Savannah River may be asking, where is South Carolina on the list? South Carolina came in at number 29 on the best states to work from home list.
The rest of the top ten are.
- Delaware
- Utah
- Maryland
- Connecticut
- New Jersey
- Washington DC
- Georgia
- Arizona
- Washington
- Colorado
The fact that Georgia is the only southern state on this list is pretty fascinating to me. Tennessee and North Carolina did rank just outside the top ten at numbers 13 and 15 respectively. If you want to read the full Wallet Hub article, just click here.
