Private Island For Sale In South Carolina
A place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life. Maybe a nice vacation spot? Well, there’s a South Carolina private island that’s for sale… which means it could be more than just a nice spot to vacation. But only if you’ve got $15 million!
According to Robb Report, there is a 56-acre retreat in Okatie, known as Pine Island, and it’s now on the market. It’s described as an “ultra-secluded property.” The island is accessed by a causeway and is not far from a private residential community called Spring Island.
Pine Island is wooded and includes a custom designed, 6,130-square-foot house. The architecture has traditional Japanese influence and was designed by William McDonough of Charlottesville, Virginia.
In addition to the gorgeous home, the property has a 550-foot deepwater dock, a kayak launch, and boat lift. And we can’t forget to mention a one-bedroom guest cottage and a 6 car garage.
The main home has 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bath rooms. Outside, there’s a wrap around porch. There’s even a saltwater swimming pool.

Four Places In South Carolina We Love
South Carolina is a beautiful state. Here’s Four Places In South Carolina We Love. I have been going to Folly Beach for years, and it’s on our list. It now has a new pier (pictured above) and the food is great all over the island. Breakfast shout out to Lost Dog Cafe! Also, the Blu restaurant at the Tide’s Hotel is excellent, too. Taco Boy, The Crab Shack, and so many more. My favorite place on the island is the Tiki Hut at the Tide’s Hotel. It’s oceanfront, and it is the perfect place to hang out and relax.
Speaking of relaxing, Edisto Island has a really cool vibe. You’ll not find bar after bar and a big nightlife, but that’s what attracts people to Edisto Island, which is known as a family beach. I’ve been a couple of times, and it’s just a great place to go and chill.
Table Rock State Park is outside of Greenville in Pickens, South Carolina, and according to Visit Greenville, At nearly 3,000 acres, the park contains everything that makes the natural beauty of the Appalachians so arresting. Visitors can swim or fish in one of the park’s two stocked lakes. Kayak, canoe, and pedal boat rentals are available seasonally at the Lake Pinnacle boathouse.
Next up, is one of the most famous cities in the world, Charleston, SC. This city has everything. History, of course, and it’s a foodie’s paradise. Charleston has it all. Plus, you may run into Charleston resident Bill Murray, as I did once at, of all places, an outlet mall. I held the door for him while he was leaving the same store I was in, and he just nodded as I said hello. But I was that close to him for a second…Ha!
So, here are four places we love in South Carolina!
