Georgia Residents Eat Out More Than Most of the US – Would You Agree?
Based on monthly internet searches, Georgia ranks among the top states when it comes to enjoying dining out. Dining out is often seen as a luxury, sit-down meal that involves a celebration, but dining out is also grabbing a fast meal after a long day.
Georgia comes in at 6th place in the top 10 list of states that enjoy dining out. There are 65, 510 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents.
Pricelisto.com determined this study by seeing how many times people in each state search for more than 3,500 dining-related terms, including every major fast-food chain as well as terms like “best restaurant near me” and “restaurant menu” using Google Keyword Planner.
Colorado takes first place on the list with an average monthly search volume of 74,795 per 100,000 residents.
The study also shows that the top three searched chains in Colorado are Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell.
Georgia’s top chain is Chick-Fil-A.
Coming in at last place is Illinois with 59,730 average monthly searches per 100, 00 residents.

America's Healthiest Fast Food Restaurants
What are America’s Healthiest Fast Food Restaurants? I’ve found a list! A lot of times we try to do better with our eating. Even if we do have to grab fast food, we try to find something healthy. I know that sounds weird, healthy fast food? It does exist and here are the healthiest fast foods that you can find right here in the CSRA.
I found this article on EatThis.com and with the exception of one place, we have at least one of these restaurants in the CSRA. According to the EatThis.com article, “Fortunately, fast-food chains have listened to our desire to eat convenient food and manage our health. At the same time, some fast-food joints have been better listeners than others.”
The article also says, “Healthier fast-food choices tend to be lower in calories—or at least less than half your day’s worth in one meal. These meals also tend to be lower in saturated fat and sodium while including vegetables, fruit, and other high-fiber ingredients. Cava is the only restaurant on this list that we don’t have in the CSRA. So I’m not including it in my list here.
