A Taste Of The Future With Coca-Cola’s Latest Limited Edition Flavor

Is this a look into the future? Coca-Cola Y3000 is the latest limited-edition flavor from the brand. And according to the Coca-Cola website, this is “the first limited-edition Coke flavor from the future.”
The new Coca-Cola Y3000 is the latest addition to the “Creations” series by the brand. And this flavor is supposed to taste like “The Future.” In fact, the label says, “Futuristic Flavored.”
Coca-Cola says this flavor was “created to show us an optimistic vision of what’s to come, where humanity and technology are more connected than ever.” This is the first flavor from Coke that was co-created with A.I. (artificial intelligence). And they claim this is a taste from the year 3000, hence the name, Y3000.
There’s no details on exactly what is in the flavor profile, other than it’s “85-90% Coke, with a 10-15% twist of something unexpected.”
The new flavor is available in 20 ounce bottles and 7.5 ounce cans. And like the others, it’s only available for a limited time, and it’s available in retail stores now. They recommend serving it ice cold for “maximum refreshment.
There’s also a QR code on the label that you can scan to “take part in digital and IRL experiences.” It takes you to the Creations site where you can play around to see what the future might look like.
Another part of this drink launch includes a limited-edition capsule collection in partnership with the luxury streetwear brand AMBUSH. The line will be available on the AMBUSH website this fall.
Earlier this year, Coca-Cola released the Coca-Cola Ultimate, which was part of the Creations line up. The “Ultimate” flavor was aimed at gamers. Dub and I had a chance to sample that one, and you can check out out taste test HERE.
