A big screen!

The big guy rolled the big show into Greenville Thursday night, and this town may never be the same. On Wednesday night, Jelly Roll threw a party for his team at a local restaurant and left a big tip for a lucky waitress. Jelly Roll Rolls Into Greenville Big Time.

Backyard Baptism

Jason De Ford, or as we know him, Jelly Roll, does everything big. I had never been to a Jelly Roll concert, and I walked away a bigger fan than ever. The "Backyard Baptism" tour had the fans on their feet all night. You can tell he loves his fans, too. He is always helping people whenever he can. There are some great stories out there to back that up.

This show had it all. Country hits a hip-hop medley, some rock and some testifying. This guy is big on his faith and one of the most humble people I have met. We talked for about 30 minutes backstage; he told some great stories, and we had some great bar-b-que, too.

The show opened with Struggle Jennings and Chase Rice. Then Jelly Roll came out with a stage show that lit up the Bon Secours Arena. It was loud, and it was fun. The crowd sang along, and he would stop along the way to acknowledge a sign or two in the crowd. Most of the fans I saw didn't sit down all night. This was a fast-paced concert that flew by. It was one of the best I've been to.

Thanks, Jelly. I'll be back for the next one!
