As a child of the ’90s, when I scrolled across this story, I was filled with excited. There is a Polly Pocket Airbnb coming soon! Polly Pocket was quite possibly one of my favorite childhood toys, and now it’s coming to life with this fun life-sized replica.
Celebrating 35 Years
According to Airbnb’s announcement, Polly Pocket has been a beloved, pocket-sized toy for 35 years. And now, you can celebrate your love with this life-sized compact. The ’90s Slumber Party Fun compact will be a nostalgic getaway that brings this tiny doll to life.
To celebrate her 35th birthday, Polly Pocket will be an Airbnb host with this fun, vintage-themed, two-story compact. The Airbnb is “packed with nostalgic surprises to take guests right back to their childhoods while getting the 411 on the pocket-sized life.”
About The Polly Pocket Airbnb
The Polly Pocket Airbnb is located in Littleton, Massachusetts, which is Polly’s hometown. The compact is 42 feet tall and brings the features of the original 90s Slumber Party Fun compact to life. Guests can book one of three one-night stays between September 12th through 14th. It accommodates 4 guests, at $89 per person.
In the compact, “a few hidden surprises await” for guests. There’s Polly’s vanity, filled with hair and nail accessories. There’s also a retro fridge with snacks to enjoy. And really dive into your childhood with Polly’s closet, where you can try on some of her most iconic looks, in that signature rubbery texture.
In the living room, you can enjoy a movie night with plenty of pillows and a pullout couch. There’s also a life-sized Action Park Tent 10 feet away from the compact with sleeping bags and glow in the dark stars inside.
And get crafty, with all the materials you need to make custom charm bracelets.
How To Book The Polly Pocket Airbnb
From August 21st at 6 a.m. PT until August 28th at 11:59 p.m. PT, guests can request to book a one-night stay at the compact at airbnb.com/pollypocket. Guests will be responsible for their own travel to and from Littleton, Massachusetts.
If you’re unable to book a stay, there’s another chance to experience the Polly Pocket Airbnb. The home will be open for 21 experiences for up to 12 guests each. This will be a daytime adventure between September 16 through October 6th. Request to book this experience starts August 21st at 6 a.m. PT throguh August 28th at 11:59 p.m. PT at airbnb.com/pollypocketplaydate.
