Lars Tate, Former Georgia Running Back Dies
Former Georgia Running Back Lars Tate, who was second in career carries, rushing yards and touchdowns scored, only to Hershel Walker died Tuesday morning. He was 56 years old.
After playing for the Bulldogs in 1986 and 1987, Tate spent several seasons in the NFL, first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, followed by the Chicago Bears.
