Good Vibes: Teacher Diagnosed With Leukemia Continues To Teach From Hospital During Chemo
Will Loesel is an 8th grade teacher, who was diagnosed with lymphoma in March.
Just as schools began to close due to the coronavirus pandemic, Will also began his chemotherapy treatments. Despite his five-day hospital visits for chemo, Will continued to teach all 117 of his students via Zoom.
Will’s story was originally featured in The Charlotte Agenda, and has gone viral—a GoFundMe for his medical bills has already raised nearly $17,000 dollars, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show has given him $25,000.
