COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Postponed Due To Weather Threat
With inclement weather pending for tomorrow, University Hospital has decided to postpone their second-dose Moderna vaccine clinic. This clinic is for appointment only, second-dose recipients.
From University Hospital:
“In order to keep our patients and staff safe from potentially dangerous weather, we are rescheduling the appointment-only, second-dose Moderna clinic scheduled for Thursday, February 18, at First Baptist Church of Augusta, to Monday, February 22, at First Baptist Church of Augusta. This is only for people who received their first dose of Moderna vaccine by appointment at First Baptist Church on January 21. These changes do not affect the second-dose vaccination clinic scheduled for Friday, February 19, at First Baptist. These are not walk-in vaccination clinics. Participants should arrive at their scheduled time and must present the corresponding vaccination cards they were given when they received the first dose. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but based on information we have at this time, we believe this is the safe decision to make. We will post any changes or updates to the University Health Care System internet home page, www.universityhealth.org, and our Facebook page. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
