Tigirlily Gold – Beasley Augusta Visit
What a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Today we had Tigirlily Gold at Beasley Augusta for a visit on their radio tour. These two blew us away with their amazing voices.
Tigirlily Gold is a sister duo, and they’re originally from North Dakota. They have been singing together their whole lives. It wasn’t until high school that they officially formed their band. Then in 2017, the duo made their move to Nashville.
While in Nashville, they attended Belmont University. Then realized they needed an income. So the pair started playing on Broadway. They wound up with a weekly residency at Dierk Bentley’s bar, Whiskey Row. They played a lot of cover songs, playing four-hour sets for 3 to 4 nights a week.
In 2021, the pair signed with Monument Records, where they’ve been able to work with Shane McAnally. They have an upcoming EP called Blonde. Eight of the 9 songs were written by the sisters!
Just last month, Tigirlily Gold’s “Shoot Tequila” was released. It’s the first release off the EP. The song has gone viral, and for good reason! We all loved it when they played it for us!
