Average House Prices In The Augusta, GA Area

Aiken is a great place to live, with one of the best small towns in the south. I love it because of the small cottage type homes in the area.

According to Zillow, the average house prices in the Augusta, GA, area are affordable in many areas. Whatever your budget is, you can find something here. While some are putting their home hunt on hold because of interest rates, many are buying because their house appreciated so much in the past few years, and they have a larger down payment on their new home. This area is beautiful, and there's always something to do.

I live in North Augusta, and I've seen house prices rise a good bit since I bought mine about six years ago. Even with the interest rates where they are today, to appears to me, new housing sells faster than they can build them. I know the North Augusta and Graniteville areas have new ones going up constantly.

While I love North Augusta, I would love to have some land in Edgefield, which used to be inexpensive compared to other areas, but it now seems prices have caught up there, too. With that being said, I tell friends in Nashville what I paid for my house, and they always seem shocked that housing is that inexpensive here compared to Nashville. By the way, the average housing price in Music City is $575,000.

With the Nashville prices, ours looks pretty good! Here are the Average House Prices In The Augusta, GA, area, including North Augusta and other local towns.
