Sandy, who has had some health problems recently, is still there, and I can’t help but think her being in this diner and cooking for her friends has to be therapeutic for her.
I had the cheeseburger and fries and a cold beer and listened to the guys at the bar talk about the Masters when tickets were plentiful back in the old days, and I struck up a conversation with a local gentleman who is running for Sheriff. It was a good Saturday in Augusta.
