North Augusta Riverside Updates.

It’s getting there. Soon, a boat dock, an overlook, restrooms and more will make the Sharon Jones Amphitheater even more enjoyable.

North Augusta is updating Riverside by improving an existing entertainment venue. North Augusta Riverside is home to the Sharon Jones Amphitheater, a great place to see a concert, and a popular venue in Riverside Village.

Already home for the Augusta Greenjackets, SRP Park, which is a state-of-the-art baseball stadium. Also, a few restaurants, a hotel, and apartments are in the area.

North Augusta Riverside: What To Expect

Now, getting to the Sharon Jones Amphitheater gets better. When this project is completed, you can boat in. A new dock on the Savannah River, restrooms, and more seating are being built.

Also, soon to come are more apartments and restaurants along the river. It seems North Augusta is growing rapidly.

There are plans to improve the downtown area with pedestrian crosswalks and connect the Greeneway so residents can walk or bike downtown. The Greeneway is already one of my favorite things about North Augusta.

Coming soon, it will be interesting to see what the city will do with the old North Augusta Country Club property. I'm hearing a recreation area. That is a beautiful property; I'm sure the Greeneway will eventually connect to this property, too.

I love living in North Augusta and looking forward to this small town's future plans.
