Masters Tournament 2023: Complete Coverage

UPDATE at 12:29 p.m. – Play is no longer suspended.  The Par 3 Contest begins at 1 p.m.

CBS Sports is reporting, as of 11:57 a.m. today, there is currently an isolated thunderstorm warning at Augusta National.

Patrons and golfers are seeking shelter and off the course until the warning is lifted. Some golfers will not people able to continue practice.  This also affects the Par 3 Contest, which was scheduled to kick off at noon. Reports at the time were showing 90% chance of rain at noon.  Then a 60%-75% chance of rain for the rest of the afternoon.

We’re awaiting information on whether the Par 3 Contest will start at all or if golfers will be able to get in any more practice before the end of the day.
