Corey Kent Stole The Show At Kicks99’s Guitar Pull-Check Out His New Song
At the 2023 Kicks99 Guitar Pull, Corey Kent stole the show in my opinion. Now don’t get me wrong, the whole show was great. However, in talking to people after the show, so many of y’all were so impressed with Corey. He gained a lot of fans in Augusta last November. I’m sure he gained quite a few streams and downloads of his music from here as well.
Guitar Pull Can Make You A Star
There have been a lot of artists who have come into Kicks99’s Guitar Pull as new artists, and within a few years, they became country superstars. Like who? Well artists like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, and Blake Shelton all come to mind. Yep, they’ve all played the show in the past, and not long after, their careers blew up.
Will that happen with Corey? I can’t say for sure, but it’s definitely possible. He’s already scored a number-one song with “Wild As Her”, and I think this new song could be another hit for him. Now I’m not saying that I can pick hits. There are a ton of songs that I think will be hits and they never turn out to be. I’ve got a feeling about this one though.
Corey is from Oklahoma, and when he was just 11, he was playing on the road with a Western swing band. He played in and around Oklahoma and Texas for years opening up for artists like Cody Johnson and Parker McCollum. Corey signed with RCA Records in 2022 and began promoting “Wild As Her”.
If you loved Corey Kent at last year’s Kicks99 Guitar Pull, then I really think you’re going to dig this song.
