Of all the things that are now the “new normal” from the COVID-19 pandemic, this might be the weirdest one!
As film studios prepare to resume making movies later this month, the Film Editor’s Trade Association has released a 22-page list of guidelines to keep actors and crew members safe.
According to The Sun, these new measures include daily coronavirus testing on set, and formal handwashing lessons.
As another precaution, film studios are also being advised to either re-write “close contact moments,” or use computer-generated imagery or special effects to create those, um…passionate scenes.
While I appreciate the fact that they’re taking everyone’s safety so seriously, it’s hard to imagine iconic two cartoons in the throws of passion.
While we’re on the subject, I think we can all agree that this is the most iconic sex scene ever. (My mom used to make me fast forward through this part.)
