Andrew’s Story:

My stepson, Andrew, has had a really bad year. His wife of less than one year has left. She took a lot of his things, including his 7 year old daughter’s stuffed animals, which devastated the daughter. Andrew’s house is really old; the heat dose not work. We gave him space heaters. Then, his stove went out, so he can’t cook. Then the transmission on his truck went out. Now, he has no transportation. It has been one thing after another. Andrew was a police officer but had to leave the force because of PTSD. (Two of the officers in his unit committed suicide.) It has been really hard on him. He calls and says he should just end it…my wife (his mother) and I worry all the time. He gets so depressed. If you can help him in anyway we would appreciate it so much. I would love to see him smile.
