Her Story:

I am nominating my children who have lost everything due to Hurricane Ida. They moved to Louisiana and then had to relocate back to South Carolina, being homeless for a month.  Now, we’re  finally in a little tiny home in a lovely community outside of Wagner.  My Christmas Wish is for my kids to feel stable and safe again and be able to have things that they didn’t have before, or what was taken away by Hurricane Ida. I am not currently working. When Hurricane Ida came, I was unemployed due to COVID and it’s taken so much to finally find something. I am still waiting to go through training. My 9 year old is on the Autism spectrum and loves Mickey and Minnie and Thomas the Train.  He lost all his toys during the hurricane. I also have a 10 year old, who will be 11 on the 2nd, who loves Pokémon. They just lost everything they had- toys, bikes and clothes. I also have a 14 yr old. My kids are my world and to just have someone try and help make this Christmas better for them would be great. I am not worried about myself I just want this for my children.
