Kalen Simpson is a single mother of a precious two-year-old boy. Kalen has worked extremely hard the past three years providing a safe, loving home environment for not only herself but also her son, Zander. A survivor of domestic violence in the first degree has taken a toll mentally, physically, and emotionally on my daughter. However, her willpower to do everything she can to give her son the most loving, safest atmosphere is incredible. Being a single mother is extremely tough. Kalen does everything in her power to make ends meet. Living pay check to pay check, Kalen makes things happen for her son.
