Transcript:
Dub [00:00:00] Okay, So we’re going to do a little game called Can’t Beat Cody. And what this is, Brett, is I have three trivia questions here, and I’m going to ask you these trivia questions first. I’m going to kick Cody out. In fact, I need you to go. She’s going to the soundproof booth. She’ll have no idea what these questions are. I’ll get your answers down first. I’ll bring her back in and get her answers. Whoever gets the most right has bragging rights until Guitar Pull. Alright?
Brett Young [00:00:22] And whoever loses has to wear the princess crown.
Dub [00:00:23] Yes, absolutely. Yes. And now that is the stakes. Cody has no idea that those are the stakes, but now they are. Here we go. Question number one, how many NBA championships did Michael Jordan win with the Chicago Bulls? Six, seven, or eight?
Brett Young [00:00:38] Six.
Dub [00:00:39] Alright, question number two, which historical document was signed first, the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence?
Brett Young [00:00:46] The Declaration of Independence.
Dub [00:00:47] And question number three, of course, you got a version of Tim McGraw’s song Don’t Take the Girl on your brand new album. What year did Tim’s version of that song come out? 1993, 1994, or 1996?
Brett Young [00:00:58] 1994.
Dub [00:00:59] Brett, I got your answer down. Cody, Come on back in. Alright, Cody, so while you were in the soundproof booth, Brett and I have decided, you know, we were talking about earlier that he has to wear his little girl’s princess crowns around the house. Well, if he beats you, whoever wins has to wear the princess crown on stage at Guitar Pull.
Cody [00:01:20] I’ll wear a princess crown, regardless.
Dub [00:01:22] Just because it’s Wednesday.
Brett Young [00:01:23] I was going to say this is not this is not as bad of a thing for her as it is for me.
Dub [00:01:28] You know? So, Brett, honestly, I’m kind of hoping Cody wins right now. Question question number one. Cody, how many NBA championships did Michael Jordan win with the Chicago Bulls? Six, seven, or eight?
Cody [00:01:39] Oh, gosh, I have no idea. I’ll go in the middle with seven.
Dub [00:01:43] Final answer.
Cody [00:01:43] Yeah.
Dub [00:01:44] So Brett said six. Brett is correct. So you are now one down. Question number two, which historical document was signed first, the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence?
Cody [00:01:55] The Constitution.
Dub [00:01:56] Final answer.
Cody [00:01:57] Yeah.
Dub [00:01:57] So Brett said the Declaration of Independence. Brett is correct. This next one is just out of technicality. Brett’s got a new version of Tim McGraw’s song Don’t Take the Girl on his new album. What year did Tim’s version of that song come out? 1993, 1994, or 1996?
Cody [00:02:13] 94.
Dub [00:02:14] Final answer.
Cody [00:02:15] Yes.
Dub [00:02:15] That’s what Brett said as well. Brett Young, you got all three questions, right! Cody, you only got one right. So, Brett, there’s a little phrase that you can say now and it goes like, hey, I’m Brett Young and I beat Cody. Can you say that for me, please, sir?
Brett Young [00:02:28] Gladly. Hey, I’m Brett Young, and I beat Cody.
Cody [00:02:32] All right, well, just make sure you have my princess crown.
Dub [00:02:34] That’s right. I think she threw it on purpose, Brett.
Brett Young [00:02:38] She lost on purpose. She wants to wear the crown.
Dub [00:02:39] That’s what I’m saying. She threw it.
Cody [00:02:41] Hey, I saved you from having to wear it.
Dub [00:02:43] I wanted to see Brett in it.
