The Munchies Lab is back, now known as Munchies Snacks. If you have been keeping up with Munchies they have had quite a journey with getting here!

Munchies Lab first opened on Walton Way and ended up closing in September of 2023. When the business closed, owners had hoped that it wouldn't be a final goodbye, just a see you later, and that's just what happened!

Three months after closing the Walton Way location, they announced on social media that they would have a new location coming soon in Columbia County.

Munchies Snack's just opened its doors to the public on March 26, located in the West own Shopping Center. They held a grand opening from 1 pm until 9 pm.

The day before, on March 25, they invited local influencers and CSRA experience pages to give the shop a try.

Customers have already described the new location as having a fun and unique atmosphere with delicious food.

If you're not too familiar with Munchies Snacks the menu is very different from your everyday snack bar.

Here are some of the items they had on their previous menu:

  • Fried Pickle Roll – Dill Pickle, Cream cheese, Bacon, Tempura fried and covered with Chet dust
  • The Munchies Dog –  Brioche Hot dog topped with French fries, melted cheese, chili, sour cream, diced onions, and sprinkled hot Cheetos dust.
  • And interestingly shaped waffles – if you know, you know.

This location has been said to have a whole new menu and concept. No grilled items as of yet. So if your looking for the Dracula Fries, they are currently not included on the new menu.

The owner of Munchies Snacks are owned by, Patty and Ramiro Galvan, who also owns Taqueria El Rey. The cool thing about this new location for Munchies is that it's just a few doors down from Taqueria El Rey. So if you miss the Birria Pizza that munchies use to also have on their menu, no worries it is just a few doors down.

The Top 10 Potato Chip Flavors We Wished Existed

As the saying goes, "Betcha Can't Eat Just One" It's true.  Potato Chips are the best snack on earth.  There are tons of flavors.  Some come and so, some stay around.  But What about the ones that don't exist yet?  What About The Top 10 Potato Chip Flavors We Wished Existed?

On the Lays Facebook page, they put up from time to time fake flavors that you might like.  That got me thinking - I decided to rank the fake ones by the ones that I couldn't live without if they were real!  We'll get to that list in just a few.

Let's Talk About Chips In General

Now What Is Good For Dipping Chips?

Now this is a list that could go on forever and ever.  Most everything is good to dip chips right.  These are the most popular dips:

So when Lays posted the flavors that you would like to have to have they hit some home runs. When you see the list, you'll see a lot you will like and some you will call me crazy for even showing them. Here are some that didn't make the list but I'd try them:

Fake Flavors That Lays Made But Didn't Sound Good At All

So while I was looking at the Flavors That Don't Exist, but I think they would be good - Here's my top 10 list!

          #10-French Fries

I'll dip my chips in ketchup, heck yeah I do.  Just think, now you could dip your chips in ketchup and really get French Fries and Ketchup taste.  This one would not only be limited to ketchup, but all of our favorite dipping sauce.  Just think if these were flavored like Wendy's fries and could dip these chips in a Frosty.

          #9-Thanksgiving Stuffing

This could have ranked higher, this is my favorite part of thanksgiving and to have it on chips, Get out.  This might be one that stays in the pantry year round.  Now I have to ask, will it have the dressing and the gravy taste?  Just wondering

          #8-Deviled Eggs

Now When they say you can't eat just one, this would be nothing but the truth for me.  Deviled eggs are the ultimate southern meal staple.  You can't have dinner at Grandmas and not have them.  So what if you could have them in every bite of these chips?  I'm all in!

          #7-Charred Hot Dog

Just like they come off the grill?  Yes please!  Now it's funny, I like my hot dogs two different ways.  If I grill them at home, make them near burnt and crispy.  In a restaurant or hot dog stand, just boiled.  Call me crazy, and you'd be right but these crispy burnt on the grill flavored chips would kick.

          #6-Lasagana For 12

I really don't under stand why or how Lasagna for 1 or 12 or even 100 would taste any different but ok.  I love Italian food and I love Lasagna so I'm all in on this one.  Now what if you were to bake these chips on top of your Lasagna?  See how I consider myself an overthinker?

          #5-Sprinkles Cookies

I have to ask the first question.  Do the chips taste like Ice Cream?  Isn't that were sprinkles taste the best?  Maybe its the sweet and salty combination that is intriguing about these chips.  This could a good mixture of chips and sweet.

          #4-Skittles

I can taste the rainbow now.  I love Skittles and think this would be a fun bag of chips to eat and I would go through a lot of these.  Now are each of the chips a different color like the real skittles?  That would be a game changer, Right?

          #3-Freeze Pops

Tell me your childhood isn't rolling back into your mind right now just by looking at this and thinking it could be possible.  I wanna run to the store now and get some Freeze Pops.  Freeze Pops were not just good frozen like a popsicle, but did you ever leave them cold in the refrigerator   and just drink them?  Just like the Skittles brand, would each chip be a different flavor?  Hmmmm

          #2-Candy Corn

I know this one will get a lot of debate but I'm here to tell you, You'll be wrong.  These tasty little Halloween treats are just fine on their own, but in a chip?  Stop the presses and let me own.  Now if they would do the little pumpkins and make each chip a pumpkin.  Lord help me my blood sugar.

          #1-Cherry Limeaide

There truly would be no words for this one to be 100% honest.  This would be heaven in a big.  How many times do you just go to Sonic to get you a Cherry Lime Aid?  Be honest now.  Imagine if you can, Cherry Lime Aide chips.  Kind of hard to wrap your head around.  Something this good available  in your pantry.  Stop!
