In case you hadn't heard there is a new Sprite flavor. The new flavor is called 'Sprite Chill' and it was just released. I'd read that there was a new flavor coming out, however, I wasn't sure when it would actually be available here in the CSRA. Sometimes bigger markets get things before we do. I was pretty surprised when I found it at the Grovetown Kroger yesterday. But y'all know me, if it's new, I'm going to try it.
What Does The New Sprite Flavor Taste Like?
'Sprite Chill' is being described as a Cherry Lime flavored Sprite. I'll be totally honest, I'm not a big Sprite drinker. I'm not going to turn one down if you offer it to me, but it's not necessarily going to be my first choice. However, I'm the guy who tries the new stuff. Whether it's a new flavor of snack or soda, I'm going to give it a try and do an honest review of it.
I wasn't sure how this was going to taste. Of course, you know, Sprite is a lemon-lime soda. Now 'Sprite Chill' is going to add cherry lime to lemon-lime. Is that going to be too much lime, or will it taste good? I didn't know until I cracked the seal and tried it.
So I can tell you this, the new Sprite flavor, 'Sprite Chill' and 'Sprite Chill Zero Sugar' are out now. However, this is a limited edition drink, and according to Food and Wine, it will only be available through July while supplies last. I have a feeling this one might be sticking around though. If everyone else feels like I do about this new drink, I think it may be around past July.
