This weekend I tried something new – I went to the Augusta Craft Beer Festival. This is the 7th year that this event has been put on. It was held at the SRP Park – home of the GreenJackets.
As a first-time goer, I didn’t have any expectations going in. I’m also not a huge beer drinker but I love festival vibes! So really I was looking forward to just being out amongst the community, enjoying the fresh air, and spotting out the ciders!
Cider is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of apples. So basically spiked apple juice.
There were over 30+ hand-selected local, regional, and national breweries.
The weather was perfect, the crowd was nice, and there were tons of vendors to sample from.
The first vendor I tried was the Lo-Fi Brewing Company. They are located in Charleston, South Carolina.

Overall, I enjoyed the event.
