Put Your Pet On A Billboard This Month For Free
Some passengers accidentally forgot their pet companions in their Uber, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, and even a rat said the ride-share company.
Did you know you can put your pet on a billboard this month? Did you know you could do it for free? Yep! True story! So how does it work? Don’t worry I’ve got all of the details for you. According to Lifehacker, the billboard company Lamar is doing this all month long. Lamar owns around 150,000 billboards in the U.S., including a ton of digital billboards.
And for National Pet Month, they partnered with an ad company called Shoutable to let people post photos of their pets for FREE. I’ve got three dogs, including a new puppy. As a fur parent, I’ve got a ton of pictures of our dogs, and I bet if you’ve got pets, you’ve got a ton of pictures too. The only problem now is, what picture do you pick?
Heres how it works, go to this website and upload a photo of your pet and add a custom message. There’s also a map, so you can choose a billboard nearby. You can also choose the date and time for it to play. How cool is that?! Technically, you have to checkout, and it’ll say it costs $45. But if you use the discount code “LamarPetMonth”, it’ll drop that to zero. So it is actually free.
You have until May 31st to make your submission. To read the full article from Lifehacker about how to put your pet on a billboard this month for free, just click here.

Meet Josie- Dub's New Golden Retriever Puppy
Kelsey and I got a new Golden Retriever puppy over the weekend. She is the cutest little fluff ball you’ve ever seen. Her name is Josie. We got Josie for Maddie’s first birthday, but Maddie got her present a few months early. Maddie’s birthday isn’t until September. We couldn’t wait though, Golden Retrievers don’t become available very often.
We’d gone back and forth for a while on getting another dog. Of course we still have Bo, our Bloodhound, and Lola our yellow lab mix, but we were thinking about another one. Y’all might remember we lost our third one Butch about a year ago. Well with moving last year and having Maddie we just didn’t know if the time was right.
Kelsey and I have always wanted a Golden Retriever. Well as fate would have a friend of a friend’s dog had just had puppies. We knew that if we wanted another dog, now was the time. Kelsey picked Josie up on Friday, and she’s been great so far. Its been a bit of an adjustment, neither of us have had an eight week old puppy in a long time.
We’ve forgotten how much they love to chew, and how sharp those little puppy teeth are. But Josie is getting along great with Bo and Lola. Maddie has even petted Josie a few times and kinda sorta tried playing with her while she was in her walker yesterday. Maddie and Josie are going to grow up together, and now Maddie has a dog that is all hers.
