New Meat Market And Cafe Opens Near TBonz
Today is the opening day for Mallys Market! They just opened at 11 am, in the former TBonz catering hall.
Located at 2860 Washington Road. They are an Eat-in or Grab & Go!
It is also owned by the same family that owns the Augusta and Evans TBonz Steakhouse. The Market will include smoked meats, butcher, prepared foods, desserts, wine, craft beer, gifts, and catering. They will also have dressings and sauces.
For today’s Tuesday feature, they will be having the Mallys Cuban Sandwich for $10.
They have been actively posting to their Facebook page and the shop seems to have a little bit of everything from broccoli cheddar soup to desserts like a strawberry cake.
The food station has the items out under heating lights for you to be able to see and choose from. Some of the items they have on the food bar are cornbread muffins, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, brisket, and smoked chicken.
Then they have a covered cooler bar that showcases the different meat they have in.
Some of the sauces they have out are Honey BBQ, Chris’s Carolina Gold, Alabama White, and Tangy Vinegar.
Tbonz just like many of the businesses in the CSRA just went through a huge week with the Masters. It gets so hectic there that they substitute their original menu for a smaller menu – so the big crowds won’t experience the long wait.
But now it’s time to get everything back on track!
One thing that is back on track is the opening of the new Mallys Market. Before the Masters rolled in renovations had been going on, but for the week of Masters, they focused in on the TBonz restaurant as they knew it would be a huge turnout.
According to the co-owner Herny Scheer, TBonz is known to have high-quality meat cuts which led them to this business venture.
He noticed that people would always want to buy their meats.
