WATCH: Elderly Couple Reunited After Wife Beats Coronavirus
If we’re being honest, the quarantine has probably put our relationships to a new test. I’ve seen tons of memes making jokes about marriages not surviving the coronavirus, since many of us have spent a lot more time confined at home with our significant others.
While many of us are probably looking forward to some “me time,” the opposite is true for Joyce & Don Hoffmann.
They’re both 90 years old and have been married for 67 years.
Last month, Joyce was diagnosed with COVID-19 and has been in isolation at a nursing facility ever since–the most time her & Don have ever spent apart in their entire marriage. However, this past weekend, Joyce’s test came back negative and she was released from care.
