Social distancing and staying home has definitely made me eat out less, cook at home more–and yes, try new recipes.
So far, I’ve made just about every recipe that I could find using buttermilk; I learned how to make bread using a can of beer, and I concocted some low-carb cheese-it crackers–ya know, just so I wouldn’t feel like a complete slob. Balance, friends. Balance.
I’ve been making my own whipped cream for a couple years now, so I think this’ll be my next kitchen experiment: homemade butter.
