Shutterstock ImageFox News is reporting that their contributor and former presidential candidate Herman Cain has passed away at the age of 74, after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
In an official statement on his website, Cain's spokesperson wrote, "You’re never ready for the kind of news we are grappling with this morning. But we have no choice but to seek and find God’s strength and comfort to deal with it."
Mr. Cain served as an advisor to presidential candidate Bob Dole in 1996, and entered the race himself in 2012.
After dropping out of the 2012 presidential race, Cain continued to be involved in politics, working in tax reform & national security.
